Frequently Asked Questions

Online: Sign up on shopfamilyfare.com and complete the online signup process. When you sign up online, you’ll be asked for your phone number. This allows you to enter this same phone number at the register, so you never have to have a physical card with you.

In-store: Fill out an application to receive a rewards card and start saving. Be sure to register your card online to get the weekly ad preview via email, as well as access to hundreds of digital coupons and monthly rewards. 

Rewards members earn one (1) point for every U.S. Dollar spent on qualifying purchases. Points will be earned based on the net amount spent rounded down to the nearest dollar amount.

Points will be converted in fifty (50) point increments, to Rewards of varying value and form (“Rewards”). 

Points can be redeemed towards varying dollar off Rewards. SpartanNash will convert your points, in fifty (50) point increments, to Rewards of varying value and form (“Rewards”). SpartanNash has the sole discretion to determine the value and form of the Rewards.

Yes! Shop in store or online to earn points. 

The following products are excluded from earning points: alcohol, tobacco, lottery, money orders, gift cards, pharmacy & service counter items.

Unconverted points expire on the last day of each calendar month and unredeemed Rewards expire on the last day of the month following the month when points were earned.

Any returned merchandise may result in the reduction of earned points or Rewards in your account. All Rewards redemptions for items are final. Rewards will not be refunded or placed back in your account for any reason after redemption except as stated herein. 

Log into your Family Fare account via the app or website and navigate to ‘Points & Rewards’ or visit any Family Fare store Kiosk and clip any qualifying Rewards. 

Points may take one to two (1-2) business days to appear in your Account from the time of purchase.

You are responsible for ensuring that your Account is up-to-date, and that points are posted properly. If you determine that an error was made in your Account, you must contact Customer Service within fourteen (14) days of purchase. No adjustments will be made to your Account after thirty (30) days of purchase except at SpartanNash’s sole discretion.

The maximum number of points that may be earned in one calendar month is one thousand (1,000).
